  1. Shut up with the BS, Graham! The majority of Americans DO NOT like your bill! Only 12% are pro your bill! Even republican Governors hate your bill! You should be voted OUT OF OFFICE!

  2. Basically Graham just told us all that they don't listen to the American people and what we want. They only listen to themselves and what THEY want..

  3. this is why all conservatives will be put in internment camps until we can figure out why these hate mongers held power…

  4. Dave Clark loves to expose ugly republican hypocrisy: The white supremacist foul mouthed Lindsey Graham said "he'd rather see his constituents dead than be socialists. If Graham was serious about that he should be among the dead because he loves his socialist healthcare and will not give it up and he loves the socialist retirement benefits he will get for life as a senator which he also is not giving up. Graham also loves the socialist travel reimbursements to travel anywhere and never said he would not accept socialist social security when he reaches 67 because he wants it; therefore Lindsey Graham loves socialism and will not give it up so he should be the first to fall on his own sword. Hypocrisy and republican go hand in hand, inseparable.

  5. Every human should have access in their own country to free healthcare, it is a human right. The USA should adopt something like the UK system, it works and it gives free access for everyone.

  6. …it's funny how many followers of Sweet Baby Jesus see compassion for the sick, the poor, and the disadvantaged as a weakness while holding the rich in high esteem. If I'm not mistaken, Jesus was in favor of charity and compassion but not a big fan of wealth.

  7. Thank you Jimmy Kimmel for exposing the Republican Party for who they really are. They lie, cheat and steal to get in power to represent the richest people in this country. They got in office, not because there are more republicans in this country, but through gerrymandering, also known as cheating. The Republican Party consists of the richest 1% in this country and the dumbest 12%. People with a small degree of common sense can see thru their BS. And like Jared Kushner said, you can tell a republican anything and they will believe it.

  8. Bill Cassidy your are afraid to go from worse to better!! Otherwise you will be passing Medicarr for all, Ameirca would save 17 trillion dollars in 10 year.

  9. Let's speak like we are all adults here, the real truth is that Republicans DESPERATELY need a win…..any win…..let me say it again……any win, so basically they are continuing to try to pass this in order to get a first real win for their sociopath president because they know they promised the ignorant republicans the removal of Obamacare, although it is clear now that millions of trumpster supporters didn't even know what Obamacare was all about, all they focused on it was put forth by a black president….that's it.

  10. Question. What happened to sick babies in 2007? They all died I guess. No, my guess is they were treated but the insurance company wasn't billed a half million dollars for a week's work.

  11. These Republicans are lowest of the low, but this Democrat dude's big smile Is making me ill. This not a funny game. He wouldn't be smiling if his kid was in need.

  12. The only solution is single payer.
Trump would become the greatest prez ever if he enacts Bernard Sanders proposal.
    Last chance Donny

  13. Take care of yourself and stop asking for handouts from the government. Stop watching MSNBC anti-American propaganda and keep the government out of your responsibilitys.

  14. Right=keep obamacare forced 2 pay thousands then increse taxes bail out insurance company that doubled profits frm 6to15 billion=now a bailout?Scam
    Mean Trump wants a change

  15. Thank you Jimmy Kimmel for exposing political hypocrisy so effectively. You are a shining example of why citizens should be listened to. There is nothing to hamper us from creating a workable, efficient, effective, competitive and affordable health care system for all citizens except those members of Congress who are biased by an ideology that favors wealth accumulation without effort.

    Well done. God bless you.

  16. Gee a republican lying about screwing you over healthcare , say it ain't so. Wtf did you expect from the reptiles.

  17. You want to be proactive, search for Dr. Josh Umbehr, he proposes "Direct Primary Care". I need to research this a little more, but it's an alternative that works within our American Values. Feel free to tell me how Universal Health Ins. would be better. Instead yammering away about who's a liar, and virtue signalling upon your moral high horse. Why not see what happens when you take action, and not just sit around and whine about how Republicans are the devil.

  18. Kimmel doesnt need he has millions fukem. I dont even believe the story. all those NGO bulshit industries are like the clinton foundation

  19. Who is Senator Cassidy? Day in and day out for 25 years, as a licensed physician, he treated the uninsured, low-income, and marginalized working class of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the Emergency Department–frequently "on call," (meaning if he was in the middle of dinner, graduation, a movie on family night… he had to abruptly stop what he was doing to cater to the healthcare emergencies of marginalized, uninsured persons who were usually low-income hardworking minorities. That was HIM sacrificing family time to help random strangers in dire need of medical attention; strangers who usually did NOT have health insurance and thus had to go to an Emergency Room for medical treatment, who later had to contend with the outrageous medical bill. Understand two things: 1.) He is satisfied with how much money he has already saved. In Louisiana, an Emergency Department doctor salary can easily offer one a more than comfortable lifestyle 2.) Someone who has worked front line, as he has, knows first-hand what the ugly healthcare problem looks like, and after spending a quarter of a century trying to ease the pain of those suffering–physically and financially–he wants to alleviate both types of suffering. INTERESTING FACT: Senator/Dr. Bill Cassidy provided medical attention to many more African-Americans than to Caucasians. When providing medical attention, he cared not about color, class, or political leaning. I don't think it is responsible for any of you to throw a stone at a glass house. Read the bill for yourself (don't rely on someone else's interpretation).

  20. SO grateful for my Canadian Health Care. I was treated for torn ligament, had full blood testing for annual check-up, & my life saved by emergency antibiotics this year. Excellent treatment for free with little wait.

  21. Unless Kimmel is lying himself (our new political norm), it would appear that there is no brain behind that face. In the meantime Mueller continues to accumulate data confirming Trump's identity as a traitor, a pedophile, and a psychopath…using a teaspoon (it has an actual FBI logo on it). I have known for decades that the ELECTORATE is mindless, and our legislatures utterly CORRUPT; but can they possibly be as moronic as the "rust belt" hicks who simply BELIEVED Trump, instead of THINKING?

  22. Asking a Real Estate developer to be President of the United Sates is like asking a Bus Driver to Pilot a 747 Jumbo Jet,
The total lack of political experience is obvious…

  23. i trust the replicant party like i trust cancer. get them and trumpfs crime family out of our country before they start another war they can't manage.

  24. Is Kimmel a political hack or a late night television clown?
He should have Bill Cassidy back on the show to defend himself against the accusation and let the viewers decide if Cassidy lied or if Kimmel is full of horse dip.

  25. Can the republicans do what they say they are going to do? Balance the budget? Cut the fat from over spending in the military? How about helping reform our taxes that is deficit neutral not a rich mans giveaway!?

  26. This is what we got for years of false equivalencies
years of saying "ok, this side thinks there should be due process before an unarmed civilian is shot by police, WHATS THE OTHER SIDE'S OPINION?" and other questions like that
people just now realizing they've been lied to.

  27. Is it very costly to repeal Obama care? Why doesn't the democratic senators get into a deal with Trump, making the GOP look stupid?

  28. This Bill will devastate Americans that need the ACA to exist. They will perish. Republicans are attempting to slip this by the American people. They know it's all for a tax break for the richest 1% of Americans. When will they stop this war on the poor and working Americans that would be impoverished with out the ACA. You can't trust Tom Price to do what's right for the American people, when he's a stock holder in the major drug companies that have pushed up the cost of healthcare.Get these poor excuses for human beings out of office! Vote in 2018.

  29. all of us should demand that congressmen and senators have the same healthcare that every other U.S. citizen gets.they should not get anything better than any plan an American citizen can purchase.

  30. They will pass this and the Democrats will completely fail to take advantage of the public outrage. The Democrats are also too beholding to their corporate masters, uh, I mean sponsors.

  31. Kochs and other donors basically told Republicans they were off the tit until they showed progress on healthcare and tax cuts. They gave the money to put them into office, now they want their returns on it and are mad that the politicians they own aren't producing for them.

  32. As a European I find it really amusing to see how the Americans are struggling with their healthcare. It´s so easy. Especially because there are so many Americans. Everybody pays a proportional amount of his income into the public healthcare fund, and the companies pay another percentage of their employees gross income into the fund as well. Self employed and free lancers can sign up for healthcare on a voluntary basis. But since the basic fee is cheap, everybody has it. All the basic services and hospital bills are covered for everybody and their children. Then, if you want extended healthcare and first class treatment, you get an additional, private insurance, which covers that. Done.

  33. If everyone just stopped calling the ACA ObamaCare and started calling it trump care they'd stop trying to repeal it. They don't care at all about it. They care that Barack Obama passed it. And they hate having anything Obama. It doesn't matter what it is. If Obama have Congress a million dollar raise they'd try to repeal it. They hate Obama and Obama actually did a good job. Now they are taking credit for Obama's America

  34. It's ridiculous how America still doesn't have Universal health care!!! What an insane Country. Citizens…DO SOMETHING before it gets even worse for yourselves.

  35. I'm so glad that I live in a country where healthcare is seen as a right not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Where I can see a doctor whenever I need to. Where, no matter what illness I may have, I will receive the treatment I need & no one will care about my bank balance. I don't understand how a wealthy country like America can be so archaic in caring for everyone's healthcare requirements.

  36. Jimmy Kimmel lives in one of the most liberal states in the country.  Why doesn't his state have government healthcare?  Hypocrits.

  37. hypocrisy=  demanding that the U.S. Congress pass an Unconstitutional law wile you don't care that your state wont pass a Constitutional law that would do the same thing.

  38. Dear Cyph3r ?? so sorry that you got "Kicked Out onto the Streets"….
In other news, didnt this new anchor just get Outted for melting down??
The Moral of the Story; white news broadcasters get the big bucks, green card applicants….end up on the street.

  39. I have said it before, but Trump and his buddies just run the same circle over and over again. All they do is go from one thing to the next and back again. They cannot repeal the ACA, so let's blame the Democrats and go to the Mexican border wall, when that fails let's go to tax reform, when that fails let's go to blasting another country like North Korea, when that fails let's start over with repealling the ACA. When none of it works Trump signs some more executive orders to rollback any policies that has Obama’s name on it to make it to look like he has accomplished a great feat. Trump is not going to have a legacy to remember besides signing executive orders or if he is removed from the presidency.

  40. The bill does not have a chance at all for it is too insane, and would hurt too many people. The Republicants will lose plenty of seats in the midterm to the Dems because of this bill and other bills that hurt all Americans, including the Rupubllicants.

  41. You can tell this to your Senator:
Dear representative  XYZ, my name is XYZ, my zip code is XYZ. The reason I am calling is because I belive Healthcare is a right for all Americans.
According to National Healthcare Expenditure (NHE) under today's system it will cost us 42 trillion dollars in the next 10 year, if we pass Medicare for all (single payer system) the Congressional budget office has estimated it will cost us 32 trillion dollars in a 10 years projection, that will save us 17 trillion dollars.
We want Bernie Sanders bill "Medicare for all"  if you don't get in the same path with us YOU will be REPLACE, thank for your time.

  42. You Americans are crazy!..Who's copping the 'brown paper bags' here?..Someone has to be! Big money filling somebody's pockets!..It has to be that, why would you not have universal health cover? Because the big 'health' insurers who only cover you in theory, would loose out!..Therefore..Bribe..Sorry..Contribute to those republicans who can be bought..Sorry..Who will accept campaign funding!..What a corrupt system you have in America!

  43. Stop the GD hammering!! folks the Lawrence you see on air is not the true Lawrence off the air is where the true colors come out, this guy fits the definition of unhinged. When he is put under pressure he comes apart. the leaked video out now is just one example of this mans personality, Lawrence has probably logged many hours of these kinds of outbursts b/c that is who he is. AND YOU GUYS LISTEN TO HIM, u might want to check yourself before u wreak yourself!!

  44. Just last June, Lindsey Graham said he wouldn't ever support carving up grants for votes and here's his own bill, carving up grants for votes. Talk about an ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.

  45. Don’t Fall for Jimmy Kimmel’s Cheap Zero-Sum Emotionalism
Kimmel doesn’t believe Americans deserve the chance to reduce the cost of health care with market-based reforms on the state level.
    By David Harsanyi — September 22, 2017

In recent months, late-night talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel has taken to scaremongering his audience with well-worn Democratic-party talking points regarding health-care-insurance policy. Between yuks, he occasionally accuses Republicans of being would-be baby killers, which is treated as an important political development because, well, Jimmy Kimmel is famous.

This week, the comedian was back to explain why the new Graham-Cassidy Republican “repeal” bill is bad news. There were only two things wrong with his monologue: Almost everything he said was either completely untrue or highly misleading, and his simplistic emotional appeal was completely disconnected from the real world.

The comedian’s interest in policy was sparked by the harrowing experience of having a newborn son who suffered from a rare health condition. Thankfully, his boy is okay. “If your baby is going to die and it doesn’t have to, it shouldn’t matter how much money you make,” said an emotional Kimmel in May. “I think that’s something that, whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat or something else, we all agree on that, right?”

Yes, everyone agrees. As far as I know, there isn’t a single politician in America who has ever supported allowing babies to die because they are born with birth defects, even if the parents can’t pay. Not pre-Obamacare, and not post-Obamacare.

In any event, after Kimmel’s May rant, Louisiana senator Bill Cassidy showed up on his show to explain his position. These types of culture encounters shouldn’t be dismissed, because the fact is that most viewers are unaware of specific policies and have a notional understanding that’s prejudiced by the establishment media’s coverage. Cassidy came up with something he called the “Jimmy Kimmel test,” a test that no “family should be denied medical care, emergency or otherwise, because they can’t afford it.”

Kimmel claims that the new bill doesn’t meet this threshold. “This guy, Bill Cassidy, just lied right to my face,” the talk-show host said on Tuesday night during an extended political rant. He went on to say, “And by the way, before you post a nasty Facebook message saying I’m politicizing my son’s health problems, I want you to know: I am politicizing my son’s health problems.” Okay.

He explained: “Coverage for all? No. Fact, it will kick about 30 million Americans off insurance.”

Not a single person would be “kicked off” his or her insurance. Rather, the Congressional Budget Office review of the American Health Care Act found that of the 24 million Americans who would no longer have health insurance after an Obamacare repeal, 14 million would choose not to buy insurance in 2018 in the absence of a penalty. And if Obamacare were not repealed, the CBO projects another 6 million people would voluntarily leave the Obamacare markets. Now, if you don’t believe Americans should be afforded the choice to leave or not buy insurance, just say that. No one is being kicked off.

Moreover, if Kimmel supports the individual mandate, Graham-Cassidy allows California to institute it — as I am sure it would.

Kimmel says: “Pre-existing conditions? Nope. If the bill passes, individual states can let insurance companies charge more if you have a pre-existing condition.”

States would be allowed to apply for waivers to change what qualifies as an essential health benefit as long as they still preserve “adequate and affordable health insurance coverage” for people with pre-existing conditions. You may prefer price fixing to allowing states flexibility to try and fix these problems, but Graham-Cassidy does not break the “Jimmy Kimmel test.” Kimmel might not be aware that there is no plan in place that has government cutting checks after every surgery.

Kimmel then implored his audience to call Cassidy to stop the imaginary bill he had just described. It’s a shame that Kimmel didn’t provide a number to call for the tens of millions of Americans who have seen their premiums and out-of-pocket costs skyrocket under Obamacare’s strictures. Is there no number available for those who are sick of being in exchanges that coerce them to buy plans they don’t need that are sold by companies they don’t like in fabricated, noncompetitive “markets” with dwindling choices?

Anyway, so went a monologue that could have been written by any liberal activist. Which is to say it was all about cheap zero-sum emotionalism. Kimmel doesn’t believe Americans deserve the chance to reduce the cost of health care with market-based reforms on the state level, or in giving states any flexibility in catering their plans to their own citizens. Kimmel believes California and New York should spend more per capita and smaller states should suffer. Kimmel doesn’t believe that individuals and families should be allowed to contribute to health savings accounts or use them to help pay ever-growing insurance premiums. Kimmel wants average Americans to suffer.

You see? Anyone can play this game.
